Primary and Secondary School Pupils Make Shoes through Hands-on Learning

Primary and Secondary School Pupils Make Shoes through Hands-on Learning as WOFAN School Strengthens Technical Education. WOFAN Schools’ vision of producing students that are not only employable but also have the skills and technical know-how

to become entrepreneurs and employers of labour has continued to grow as students in both primary and secondary sections have learnt to make shoes through the school’s hands-on training programs.

The pupils, who are  between primary  4 to JSS 2 started learning shoe-making as part of their vocational training sessions at the beginning of the 2019/2020 session and can  now make different types of leather shoes for children and adults.  As part of the  school’s management vision of descipline & self reliance for all its students,  trainings of this nature will make them understand the economic advantages of learning vocations along with their formal education subjects,  so that they can use the skills to start businesses, development the  path of vocation for their future   and become employers of labour as they scale up in life.
